Solution How The Solution Works
Injection Cycle
1. The injection control valve opens and injection pump starts taking water from the Cooling Water inlet header pipe.
2. The pump boosts the pressure in the Ball Collector (BC), where the cleaning sponge balls are resting.
3. The condenser cleaning balls are injected almost simultaneously in the heat exchanger tube sheet with the help of injection pump.
4. With an effective spread in various tubes, the sponge balls pass through and clean the fouling /scales/deposits inside.
Collection Cycle
1. Once the sponge balls come out of the heat exchanger tubes they are collected in a ball trap.
2. During this cycle, the collection control valve opens and the collection pump starts.
3. The collection pump collects water along with the sponge balls from the Ball Trap.
4. The condenser cleaning balls are arrested by the Ball Collector on the way back & water is sent into the Cooling Water outlet header pipe.
